Sinol USA has completed a prospective, randomized, cross-over study of Sinol in patients with allergic rhinitis. Results of the study showed that patients treated with Sinol had significantly improved symptoms such as runny nose, stuffy nose, itchy nose and sneezing, compared to patients that did not receive any treatment. This study also documented the excellent tolerability of Sinol.

The initial study results will be presented at a major medical meeting early in 2009. An abstract of the results will be posted to this site after the initial dissemination. Full publication of the data in a prestigious peer-reviewed medical journal will follow.

Sinol physician references:

“As a doctor who treats sinus and nasal conditions daily I find the use of nasal capsaicin extraordinarily helpful in relieving symptoms. In my experience the use of a dilute solution of capsaicin used as a nasal spray is more effective than any nasal spray preparations, prescription or non-prescription, on the market. The success of capsaicin is not surprising since it blocks the nerve in the nose that is responsible for the troublesome symptoms of nasal and sinus disease.” Dr. Chester recommends Sinol-M to his patients.

“Patients receive samples and are requesting more. Sinol works very well for allergic rhinitis and relieves the congestion rapidly, nice job!”

William Storms, MD

“The Sinol study represents the first-ever capsaicin-based treatment for allergic rhinitis to be supported by prospective clinical data, and has important implications for millions of Americans who suffer from nasal allergies. This all-natural product has now been demonstrated to provide clinical effectiveness without any of the side effects associated with intra-nasal steroids and is available without a prescription” Dr. Michael A. Kaliner, of the Institute of Asthma and Allergy, Wheaton, Maryland, and principal author and presenter of the Sinol poster.

“I have had hundreds of patients use Sinol-M and had a lot of positive feedback. Since insurance does not cover OTC preparations, their continued use of the product says a lot about the benefit they have received, very good product.”
